YAD, in cooperation with West Sumatra BKSDA under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, manages Dharmasraya Sumatran Tiger Rehabilitation Center as a Special Conservation Institution to Rehabilitate Sumatran Tigers under PKS.255/K.9/TU/KSA/02/2023 and 001/PKSYAD/II/ signed on 2 February 2023.

PR-HSD ARSARI is part of YAD’s effort in conservation in the form of rescue, rehabilitation, and release of endangered animals such as Sumatran Tigers and other Sumatran endemic animals. This facility is located inside palm oil plantation site belonging to PT. Tidar Kerinci Agung (TKA) in Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra.

PR-HSD ARSARI was inaugurated on 29 July 2017 by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. And a gesture of appreciation for the environment conservation efforts consistently done by Hashim Djojohadikusumo, ARSARI Djojohadikusumo Foundation was awarded with Satya Lencana Wirakarya.

PR-HSD ARSARI hopes to remain as a place to rehabilitate and to ensure the survival of Sumatran tigers, and continues to commit our efforts towards our endangered wildlife, especially Sumatran tigers.
