Our Current Initiatives
Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation’s (YAD) social programmes include health and natural disaster relief assistance, support for orphanages, family grave maintenance, and renovation of places of worship.
Support to Orphanage
YAD supports orphanages and institutions that care for orphans, including the Salib Putih Orphanage in Salatiga, the Wates Orphanage in Kulon Progo, and the Santa Dymphna Orphanage in Maumere, East Nusa Tenggara.
Renovation of Places of Worship
Since 2008, YAD has been involved in assisting with the construction and renovation of churches facing financial difficulties or damage due to natural disasters.
Additionally, YAD has contributed to the renovation of several mosques since 2015.
Natural Disaster Victim Assistance
YAD provides assistance to victims of natural disasters, offering both emergency aid and repair or renovation of infrastructure damaged by these events.
YAD’s practice is to assist disaster victims after the initial influx of donors has subsided, ensuring that help reaches those who still need it.
