Let’s go back to March 8th, 2012 at Yogyakarta, where the book “Kuasa Ramalan” by Prof. Peter Carey has been published by KPG and YAD. This is the group photo session where you can see Chairman of YAD, Hashim Djojohadikusumo alongside Prof. Peter Carey, Prof. Wardiman Djojonegoro, and descendants of Diponegoro.

The event was held at Tegalrejo, former residence of Diponegoro. It is the first of four book launches; followed by one at April 12th at the National Library, another at April 23rd at Balai Sudjatmoko, and last one at April 30th at Malang University.

“Kuasa Ramalan” is about the life of Prince Diponegoro in the turbulent age of late 18th-early 19th century. Prof. Peter Carey presented here the untold story of this charismatic historical figure. This is a must read book to gain insight on the Prince.
