Hashim Djojohadikusomo, Chairman of the Yayasan Arsari Djojohadikusomo (YAD), and Damian Aspinall, Chairman of The Aspinall Foundation (TAF) signed a cooperation agreement to develop the Dharmasraya Rehabilitation Center for Sumatran Tiger (PRS HSD) on 19 April 2016 in London, UK. The PRS HSD is located in the conservation forests of Prof. Sumitro Djojohadikusomo in Dharmasraya, West Sumatra. The signing was witnessed by I Made Wedana – Country Director of TAF Indonesia and YAD team, consisting of Catrini Kubontubuh – Executive Director of YAD, Sitie Indrawati Djojohadikusomo – YAD Supervisor and Nirmala Ratimanjari of Arsari Group.
Aspinall Foundation is an international renowned wildlife conservation charity with activities include the breeding, reintroduction and protection of rare and endangered species. In addition, the foundation also has Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks in Kent, UK and animal protection projects in Africa, Madagascar, including Primate Rehabilitation Center in Patuha, West Java, Indonesia.
