Salam lestari
The May issue of YAD News comes to you bringing stories about activities in our four pillars: cultural conservation, environmental conservation, education, and social services.
The cultural conservation team gives us a glimpse on the journey of the king of Jambulipo Kingdom in West Sumatra and his entourage, which will be immortalized in a book written in collaboration with the Indonesian Heritage Trust (BPPI).
This edition of YAD News also presents an article about the commemoration of the World Biodiversity Day in West Sumatra, spearheaded by the team from Prof. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo Conservation Area (AK-PSD) ARSARI alongside the Dharmasraya Sumatran Tiger Rehabilitation Center (PR-HSD) ARSARI. There is also another piece telling interesting inside story of cleaning activities at PR-HSD ARSARI, routinely carried out every month. In addition, this month’s inspirational figure hails from YAD education division. Her name is Ibu Rintowati, the Daily Manager of ARSARI ITCI Foundation.
We hope you can find this issue enjoyable as always.
