Salam lestari,

YAD News Vol15 – 2022

This month’s YAD News comes to you highlighting various ways different teams within ARSARI Djojohadikusumo Foundation celebrated the 77th Independence Day of Indonesia. Among these teams are from Dharmasraya Sumatran Tiger Rehabilitation Center (PR-HSD ARSARI) and Prof. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo Conservation Area (AK-PSD ARSARI).

The Independence Day is also celebrated by the Cultural division of YAD, through the Indonesian Heritage Gathering 2022 at Siak, Riau. This gathering is part of the series of events to commemorate the anniversary of the Indonesian Heritage Trust, YAD’s longtime partner in cultural conservation, also attended by Sandiaga Uno, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, and Hashim Djojohadikusumo as the Board of Trustees at BPPI.

Article about Siak is one of the highlights of this issue.
There are also articles about Orangutan Sanctuary Center (PSO) ARSARI at East Kalimantan, and Conservation Class at PR-HSD ARSARI, and a piece about inspirational figure Erlinda C. Kartika as a high-profile Sumatran Tiger researcher are also integral part of this issue.

We hope you can enjoy the read.
