Flora and Fauna Diversity at Prof. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo Conservation Area ARSARI (AK โ€“ PSD ARSARI) Prof. Sumitro Djojohadikusumo Conservation Area ARSARI (AK โ€“ PSD ARSARI) is a 2,400 ha forest located within the palm oil plantation area of PT. TIDAR KERINCI AGUNG (PT. TKA). This forest is deliberately not planted with palm oil with the aim of conserving the environment. AK โ€“ PSD ARSARI is brimming with nature and well conserved, supporting various types of flora and fauna that live within it.

YAD News vol 2 โ€“ 2021
The June 2021 issue of YAD News paints a new color on the latest happenings in YAD programs. This issue contains reports and interesting articles about the activities of YAD environmental conservation team in West Sumatra, Riau, and East Kalimantan. In addition to factual information, fascinating first-hand accounts are also presented about the development of rehabilitation progress on both orangutans and sumatran tigers, as well as the wealth of vegetation in conservation area managed by YAD.

YAD News vol 3 โ€“ 2021
In this month of independence celebration, Warta YAD comes to you bringing the spirit of freedom. The first freedom was addressed to two orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus) named Boni and Beni. Both of them have returned to their homeland in Kalimantan, coincidentally on the Indonesian Independence Day on 17th of August, and also close enough to World Orangutan Day on 19th of August. YAD is very grateful to walk alongside conservation partners and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in the challenging translocation process of these two rare animals.

October issue of YAD News comes to you bringing the spirit of the Youth Pledge. Embodying the spirit of young nationalists of the past who ignited the spirit of one Motherland, one Nation, and one Language, the young people in 2021 who gathered in Indonesian Heritage Gathering in Lasem also sparked the Lasem Declaration. This declaration aims to breathe a new life into heritage city for the welfare of the community. YAD is proud to be able to support this event alongside the Indonesian Heritage Trust (BPPI), as a longtime partner in the field of cultural conservation.

YAD News Vol. 06 โ€“ 2021
Novemberโ€™s issue of YAD News comes to you with news about a series of activities to commemorate the 728th anniversary of Majapahit. This Kingdom was founded on the 15th month of Kartika, 1215 ร‡aka, or in todayโ€™s term: 12 November 1293. According to Kidung Harsa Wijaya, it was the day of the coronation of Raden Wijaya as the first king of the Majapahit Kingdom, with his full title being Nararya Sanggramawijaya Sri Maharaja Kertarajasa Jayawardhana. Since November 2014, YAD has always been commemorating the anniversary of Majapahit with various cultural activities with its conservation partners throughout the country.

YAD News Vol-07 2021
Decemberโ€™s issue of YAD News comes with recounts of interesting events at the end of 2021, particularly in the field of conservation of nature and culture. The Subak Field School or Bali International Field School for Subak (BIFSS) is a major activity that has been initiated by YAD and its partner, the Indonesian Heritage Trust (BPPI) since 2015. In early December, the 7th BIFSS took place in Selat Village, Karangasem, Bali, which will be fleshed out further in an article below.
